Nuestra historia

Pasión y Sabor

La historia de Kalizo Puerto Rican Cuisine comenzó en el año 2000 en Las Croabas, Fajardo. Fundado por el Chef Manolo Bonano, el restaurante nació con la misión de ofrecer los mejores sabores del mar, creciendo año tras año en servicio y cocina.

Por más de dos décadas hemos demostrado resiliencia: superamos el huracán María y nos adaptamos durante la pandemia de 2020 con el exitoso “Kalizo Kiosko”. En el camino nacieron las recetas que se convirtieron en nuestra firma, incluida nuestra famosa y exclusiva salsa Kalizo.

En mayo de 2022, bajo la visión de Charles Rivera, Kalizo comenzó una transformación para llevar la gastronomía puertorriqueña a otro nivel. Hoy la cocina está dirigida por el Chef Alex, con más de 10 años de experiencia, quien ha dedicado los últimos cuatro a perfeccionar los sabores de la casa, desde los mejores mariscos hasta cortes de carne premium.
